Indarapatra at Sulayman
The epic of Indarapatra at Sulayman is one beautiful story. It tells about monsters killing and eating people. This story tells about bravery of the brothers in order to help the people from not being eaten by monsters. Like us people, we help each other when there is crisis and calamities. Like Indarapatra and Sulayman, we value lives and helps the people that are in needs by giving them love, food, clothing and others the best we can. We value the traits of bravery and helping because this what makes us a true Filipino.
The Great Flood
The story was very true for us because we don't sometimes forgive anybody who made a mistake to us which is a very bad atitude because we all know that when we do the same thing to people that has a mistake to us, there is always a negative effect for us. So the story tells us that love our enemy because bad things always happen when we are fighting each other.
Ibalon
The story was great. It shows how the good leader act for his people and all the officials governing our country can learn much if they will read this story. We need a leader like Baltog, Hadyong and Bantong because they can give their life for the safety of their people to make a peaceful and happy place for everyone.
The Legend of Mayon Volcano
The love of Pagtuga for Daragang Magayon was very unfair, he should have let go Magayon because she doesn't love him. If he truly love Magayon he will let her love someone that she loves. I feel very sorry for all the women that have the same situation as Magayon, because it represents that the woman has no right to choose her man who she truly loves. Every woman should be respected and deserve to be loved.
